How many do you get before you have to make them up in June?
How many "snow" days have you had so far this year?
only 1 this year before today. Now we've a winter storm with snow and ice. One of those dangerous ones for here (So. Illinois). Snow with a slow freezing rain. It's truly a wonder filled world outside. There are trees dressed in transparent coats of ice, popping and groaning. The power's been knocked off twice already. Traffic has slowed to practilly non-existant.
Reply:It has been years since we had a snow day.
Reply:I like in the south so there is no snow days. =( We get ice sometimes but rarely get snow.
Reply:well they let us out of work early one day but we don't have to make it up and they paid us for it.
Reply:Zero. We don't get snow days at work.
Reply:Zero =(
I hope we have one today though! It's snowing a bit, and I heard it's going to be sleet soon, then rain.
Reply:I think just one since a lot of our snow fell over Christmas vacation and they (husband and kids) were already out of school anyway. I think there are enough "built-in" snow days that they still get out of school at the normal time. BTW, I've had two days I've gotten to go home early from work due to the electricity being out.

Reply:Today is our first!!! We should get off June 4th. Today is taken off our Easter break :( But everyone (especaly the grade I'm in) works REALLY hard. We have to make up EVERY SINGLE DAY WE MISS :( Oh well. This was a fun question.
Reply:it has been snowing since the beginning of 2008.

Reply:We've had one. It was the first one here in Grand Junction, Colorado in 25 years. We didn't really have that much snow, but, hey, I'm not complaining.

What's a good exotic location for me to stop in??
If I'm travelling return Montreal, Canada to Perth Australia.
What location would a plane/airline automatically stop over in - so it doesn't add much $$$ onto my plane ticket - I would like to keep it less than $3,500 return! I'm traveling in June.
I like:
-Snow.
-Sun.
-Diving.
-Shopping.
-Skying.
What's a good exotic location for me to stop in??
If you fly Singapore Airlines, you get a free stop in Singapore- it's a wonderful, very exotic place. Air New Zealand will give you a stop in Auckland, which is also great. Thai Airways and Japan Airlines (but I'm not sure of their destinations in Australia or if they even fly from Monteal) have connections in Thailand and Japan, respectively. All very exotic and fun places- enjoy :)
Reply:If you fly Air New Zealand, you get a free stop in Auckland, if you fly Singapore airlines (pacific portion), you get free stop in SIN. Going to Perth, you can either connect in southeast asia, or enter Aussie at Sydney then on to Perth. You want exotic? Bali and Fiji are nice but you don't get those trips as free stop-overs.
Reply:Fly from YUL to Vancouver by Air Canada and then from there to Perth by Qantas. Vancouver be quite a fun, I believe. Lots of shopping, sun, sand %26amp; sea activities and that all within yr budget. Try it.

How cold does it get in melbourne, australia in june, july, august?
also, how much snow?
How cold does it get in melbourne, australia in june, july, august?
There's no snow in Melbourne itself in winter. You can drive a couple of hours away to the mountains - falls creek, etc, if you want to see snow. It gets a bit fresh in the mornings, overnight lows of maybe 4C. If the sun comes out, it's usually pleasant - 20C... It hasn'r rained much over the last 10 or so winters. It can get hotter, not much colder though. I think the coldest high during the day would be about 15C.
Anyways, I hope that helps!
Have a look here, you may find a bit more detail.

Reply:f you look at a good map you will see a line that runs across just above the centre of Australia from Rockhampton to western Australias pilbarra region. This is the line of the Tropic of Capricorn and all areas in Australia above that line are in The tropics. The tropics only has 2 seasons wet and dry the dry season is between April and September so June July and August are absolutly perfect for being anywhere up North. Brisbane and the Gold Coast are semi tropical . It can get cold at night but usually nice sunny days around that time of year. Perth can get cold in winter but not freezing Sydney melbourne and Canberra can get bitterly cold. Not so much Sydney . June july and August are so perfect for Cairns The great barrier reef The WhitSundays Darwin Broome and all those wonderful places up North.
Reply:Chilly, but if you're from outside of Australia you won't think it's so bad. Australians have a low tolerence for true cold!
North American winters that stay below zero and have several feet of snow are unheard of in Australia.
In Melbourne, expect daily highs around 12-16degrees celsius and lows around 4-8degrees celsius. Of course this is an average. On certain days it can get a lot colder or warmer than these averages. Also 4 seasons in one day is common.
Reply:I went and lived there for 3 years back in the early 1980's and I can tell you it's cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey at that time of year.
The weather reports over there include a "wind chill factor" which is unheard of elsewhere in Australia.
This "wind chill factor" actually means that it is colder than it is.
I found ice on my car during those months and ice on the road too. It's scary stuff, but doesn't happen all winter thankfully.
Reply:For one... it doesn't snow in any of the mainland capital cities. Snow (in Australia), stays up in the mountains... where it belongs. So we don't get any snow in Melbourne. If you want to see snow in an Australian capital city... try Hobart. Otherwise, it snows in Canberra some times. Which is hard to believe given all the hot air there! LOL
As for cold... on the odd occasion, it can get down to -4*C overnight. And I mean "odd occasion"... like every seven or eight years or so.
More often than not though, the daytime low is in the single digits -- 4*C to 9*C. With the daytime high usually in the low- to mid-teens.
Reply:well i live near the beach(Franskton)..In winter June-September we can have temps of in between 3-15 max...

Reply:Usually down to 3 or 4 Celsius, about 36 - 42 F. at night, up to 12C to 20 C during the day. No snow in M. (usually) but after the beginning of June may start falling in the ranges about 100k away. Some good skiing about 200 ks away.

Snow in my atic?
I purchased a new home in june 2005 . Yesterday I noticed water leaking from my kitchen cealing. I live in a 2 story cape code so I looked in my atic space above my kitchen on top of my blown in insulation there was a small pile of snow melting causing the leak what's the deal please help
Snow in my atic?
I love these questions. People ask me why I live in New Orleans!!!!! Your problem is geographical in nature. MOVE SOUTH Come on even the birds know. HAPPY MARDI GRAS Gotta go buy some fresh shrimp, and crabs, oh yea don't forget the crawfish!!!!Lais les bon temps roulle!!!!!!!!
Reply:You need to be a little better detective. Where is the snow? It is under a vent? If it is, check the vent to make sure that the vent is not broken. The vent should have slats that angle down. Did they install it upside down? If the snow is towards the outside edge it may have blown up under the eaves and through a vent there. Check the outside of the house, under the eave. Is there a vent there? Is it broken or loose? Or, is there a window in the attic space? Is it broken or ill fitting? Once you determine where the snow is located...then you can detect where is might have come in? If you had a very strong wind storm along with snow, it could have blown in a vent that is not in need of repair. Sometimes the wind simply blows hard enough to foil the vent.
Reply:You obviously have a whole in your roof somewhere. To the guy above talking about moving south...I see your point, but I will take a bit of snow over giant city-destroying hurricanes.
Reply:YOu could have a hole in the roof.
Reply:Hole. Opening in the roof or siding. Have an air vent in the siding? Loose shingles? Loose mortar along chimney base?
You will have to go up on the top of the roof and look around. Even with a strong blowing wind you should not have an entry for snow. A professional roofer might be able to pinpoint situation if you cannot locate opening.
Reply:My answer is the same as you asked this question before.
Reply:block up the holes where the snow is coming in.

What varieties of Apple trees would be best for a small orchard in my area?
I live in north eastern Montana about 50 miles south of the canadian border. Temperatures during the year go from 100 degrees in the summer to 40 degrees below zero in the winter. I have a couple of Praire Spy trees that seem to be doing alright but I want to have the biggest apples possible in the shortest growing period. It has been known to freeze here up to May 20th and it has snowed on the first of June some years.
What varieties of Apple trees would be best for a small orchard in my area?
'King' apples are big fruit and tough trees. Good keepers too.
Is the 'Prairie Spy' the same as a 'Northern Spy'? If not the 'Northern Spy' is a lovely apple...I'm not sure on it's cold tolerance.
According to my Sunset Western Gardener here are a few potential choices:
'Beverly Hills' , 'Honeycrisp' , recommended for Minnesotta,
'Norland', a Canadian special, 'Summerred', and 'Wealthy'.
Mmmm I love apples!!!
Reply:contact the experimental and research farm in Morden, Manitoba. they have been developing flowers, fruits and vegetables there for many decades that are specially meant for our harsh canadian climates.
Reply:I would contact the local extension agency. They will be able to tell you what will thrive in your area. Another good place would be a large local nursery or even a local orchard if there is one. It sounds like your growing span is short, so good luck with your hunt for a good variety of apple.
We are planting apple trees in 2007, and our climate is great for lots of varieties, and we have chosen mutsu and jonagold.

How is the climate at Himanchal pradesh now in June?
hot climate
Reply:Himachal is situated in the western Himalayas. Covering an area of 55,780 kilometres (34,660 mi),[1] Himachal Pradesh is a mountainous state with elevation ranging from about 350 metres (1,148 ft) to 6,000 metres (19,685 ft) above the sea level.[10]
River Beas near Manali. The drainage system of Himachal is composed both of rivers and glaciers. Himalayan rivers criss-cross the entire mountain chain. In fact the rivers are older than the mountain system. [11] Himachal Pradesh provides water to both the Indus and Ganges basins.[12] The drainage systems of the region are the Chandra Bhaga or the Chenab, the Ravi, the Beas, the Sutlej and the Yamuna. These rivers are perennial and are fed by snow and rainfall. They are protected by an extensive cover of natural vegetation. [12]
There is great variation in the climatic conditions of Himachal due to extreme variation in elevation. The climate varies from hot and sub-humid tropical in the southern tracts to cold, alpine and glacial in the northern and eastern mountain ranges with more elevation.[13] The state has areas like Dharamsala that receive very heavy rainfall, as well as those like Lahaul and Spiti that are cold and almost rainless. Broadly Himachal experience three seasons; hot weather season, cold weather season and rainy season. Summer lasts from mid April till the end of June and most parts become very hot (except in alpine zone which experience mild summer) with the average temperature ranging from 28 °C (82 °F) to 32 °C (90 °F).[14] Winter lasts from late November till mid March. Snowfall is common in alpine tracts (generally above 2,200 metres (7,218 ft) i.e. in the Higher and Trans-Himalayan region).[

What are your thoughts on Naruto Movie 1 coming out in english in June 2007 (this year)?
O.o its getting dubbed...well it might have this huge "OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGITS GETTING TO SHOW!!! YAY!!" like the big FMA movie, though I originally expected the FMA movie to come out on theaters...(yes...I'm so pathetic) so the reaction might be the same. Even though everybody will make a big "omgomgomgomgomg" way with it...I don't think to many people would bother to buy it...
LMAO!! I am also excited now that we might be able to watch the movie dubbed, free by Cartoon Network (and just laugh about the bad voice actors, knowing that this movie is free to us). I think that Naruto will be Na-RU-TO (with a flow like 'noodle') and Sakura will be Sa-kur-a (like CardCaptors Sakura dubbed)...and Saskay...lmao
Reply:OMFG!!!!!!!!!!! I CANT FREAKEN WAIT!!!!!!!!!
Reply:i hope it's better then that clip u'd showed.
Reply:HELL YES!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reply:Naruto is gay but thats my thought i think its is just becoming the next pokemon and never like it but when there older its ok but now they look there fing 8 years old and act gayer than crap but i like serious anime like samurai x
Reply:XD
I just hope that they don't mess up the editing; there was a lot of bloodshed in one scene.

Places of interest in Sydney during late May, early June? Am planning a 9 day trip there. Good food tips too?
Am travelling there with my family of five (4 adults, 1 kid) from 3rd to 10th June. Am familiar with the city itself but planning to go to places such as Hunter Valley, Blue Mountain, Port Stephens etc? Are these places open and interesting during winter?
Wonder if I'm able to go skiing anywhere near Sydney ie does it snow then?
Lastly, within the city, are the benches still open and do ppl do there in June? Understand that the weather is pretty cold now but thinking of going to places like Bondi and Congee.
Any contacts/numbers to call would be helpful as well.
Many thanks to all who will be replying!

G'day,
Theres plenty of places to go %26amp; things to see in and around Sydney in June. You might want to see about climbing the harbour bridge. (www.bridgeclimb.com) The Blue Mountains are beautiful just about any time of year, I suggest you visit the three sisters look out.
If you want to ski the snowy mountains are the place to go. Try Thredbo or other ski resorts nearby.
The beaches are open however most are not manned by life guards in winter. However it is a bit cold for swimming anyway.
Another interesting place to visit is The Rocks in the CBD, which has a lot of Australian/Sydney history including the Argyle Cut (a huge tunnel that was carved by hand by convicts in the early days of Sydney).
For good food.... well pretty much anywhere in Sydney depending on what it is your looking for. If you like Thai try Newtown, Italian go to Leichardt, theres many other great restaurants all around sydney from Japanese to Lebanese to Korean to good ol' Aussie meat pies at Harry's Cafe de Wheels in Wooloomooloo.
Hope you have fun in Sydney.

Why do Canadians think we get no snow in the UK?
I moved from Scotland to Canada in June for a year, and pretty much every1 I talk to thinks that I have never seen snow before, some people are even stunned to hear me say it snows in Scotland, I tell them we have 4 seperate ski resorts in Scotland and that it can even sometimes snow in May/June(and not only in the mountains). I'm in Winnipeg at the moment, and people were amazed to hear that it had snowed in my home town of Penicuik before it snowed in Scotland. Do most Canadians not really know world geography and that the uk is further north than most of the large cities in Canada?
Why do Canadians think we get no snow in the UK?
People only know what they know. If they haven't been presented with the fact that it snows in the UK then they don't know it or don't think about it. When you think of most of the television and movie productions you'd think that it doesn't snow anywhere except in Russia and the Canadian arctic. Or that it only snows in the UK for dramatic effect.
Most Canadians know their world geography and know that the UK's climate is moderated by the Gulf Stream so they don't really expect too much snow in the UK. Also BTW are those 4 ski resorts on real snow (man made or otherwise) or are they on the ski mats like they are on some hills in England?
Reply:Don't lump all Canadians together. I'm Canadian and know it snows in the UK. Why do people in other countries think it snows in Canada all year round? Most likely they've never been to that country.
And as far as Canadians being dumb compared to Americans. We won't even go there
Reply:I don't know anyone who thinks that in Canada
As for the guy who said canadians are dumb lol
I met an american who was convinved in england they do not speak ENGLISH and they think we live in igloos in canada year round ...
americans know how to dish insults I see but they can not take it !!
their are idiots in every country and becasue you talked to a small group you think all canadians that way lol
I thought people in the UK were much smarter than that(oops sorry they are ...just some individuals are not )
Reply:Lmfao... Simply_me : I've never actually heard of an american making fun of canadians for a lack of knowledge in regards to geography... Its been totally unprecedented until now...
I wouldn't expect it to snow to the same extent as some parts of Canada ie. Newfoundland, where you can get 20 feet of snow... but yeah I would expect most normal Canadians would know that you do get snow... I mean to be fair, you were asking people in Winnipeg...
Reply:With some of the storms that arise on the North Atlantic and the North Sea, I've always assumed and am not surprised that the UK will get its fair share of snow.
However, when I visited London several years ago, I was told that the amount of snow that the UK gets cannot compare to what some of their neighbours get in Norway, Sweden, Finland, and of course Russia. And it does not stay for near as long as in Canada, where we get snow stays generally from December to April each year and that's at close to sea level. It seems that Scotland gets the snow, but rarely at the lower levels, and it only stays for a few days. And places like London rarely do get any snow that will accumulate.
So perhaps the Canadians you spoke to who thought you may have never seen snow before are under that impression because they have spoken to people from London, or perhaps they meant you've never seen AS MUCH snow as they get in a single storm in Winnipeg.
Regardless, I would not take offense to it. I know many people who come to Canada and think that a lot of us live in igloos and that they have to worry about grizzly and polar bear attacks just outside cities like Montreal and Toronto.
Reply:some people I imagine think since UK is an island it must be tropical and never get snow...which is pretty ignorant of people to think but I have a feeling some do think this way.

Reply:From an American who lived in Winnipeg for many years... As has been said already, you've just met a few uninformed Canadians, and a couple of uninformed Texans. Don't generalize. The Canadians you've met have the same reason as those who think Canada has snow all year! Many people in North America tend to think of Great Britain as a place of beautiful gardens and green fields, and don't bother to think of anything else. Forgive us all, as I have forgiven Canadians for all their anti-American twaddle.
Reply:they were probably just uninformed, when you hear about the UK snow usually dosen't come up into conversations.

What can you do in Vacouver/Whistler besides golfing and snow related activies?
We're going in June..My husband, our daughter and me...We're staying in Vancouver. Whistler looks like a beautiful place but being from the deep south, we do not ski or snowboard and neither of us play golf. We enjoy sightseeing, dining out and going for long walks...Any suggestions for both Vancouver and Whistler will be appreciated. Can you make it to Whistler and back to Vancouver in 1 day trip? Are there any dinner trains? We love doing that sort of thing. Can you ride a ski lift up the mountain just to check out the view? Please don't laugh at my questions...
What can you do in Vacouver/Whistler besides golfing and snow related activies?
You can go to Stanley Park, the Vancouver Aquarium is there. That is a really neat place to go. You can also search on google.ca and find a list of neat places to visit. =]
Reply:Whistler and Blackcomb village have become an all season resort, no longer known as just a ski destination. During the summer months you can hike, mountain bike, ride horses on trails, canoe, fly fish, roller blade, golf, etc. They also have some really high end restaurants and great specialty shops. Whistler and Blackcomb have a really good website to check out:

Are you looking for a local train package? Rocky Mountaineer is currently in operation. BC Rail's dinner train is now defunct.

Yes, to both Whistler and Vancouver, you can take a ride up the mountains to just enjoy the view. In Vancouver I highly recommend taking the gondola up Grouse mountain on a clear evening, eat at their restaurant and enjoy the amazing panoramic view of the city of Vancouver and watch a spectacular sunset over the Gulf and Vancouver Islands.

Yes, it's an easy trip between Whistler and Vancouver. Many people commute to work. There are dinner trains on special occasions, but not as a regular feature - but this will likely be something you will see in the future, as they have had this service in previous years but had to suspend it temporarily. You can ride a ski lift up the mountain, and take a camera with you - the views are spectacular.
You can also boat in Howe Sound, visit Britannia (a mining museum located half way between Whistler and Vancouver) and there are endless things to do in Vancouver, ranging from water activities to visiting the zoo, visiting Chinatown, visiting Science World, the Maritime Museum, or just enoying the beaches. Biking is really great in Vancouver, especially along the Kitsilano beach to UBC beach.
Nothing to laugh at in your questions - they're all very sound and I hope all three of you have a wonderful vacation in June.
There's a great website at HelloBC.com that you might enjoy.
Reply:In June all our skiing, snowboarding and winter activities are pretty much over for the season. Whistler is a village that has shopping and entertainment year round, but be prepared it is very very expensive there. Vancouver is beautiful and has a great deal to offer any tourist. I suggest you try our SeaBus, which takes you from the waterfront in Vancouver across the ocean to North Vancouver. It is breathtaking! And hopefully our beautiful Stanley Park which suffered some damage from several wind storms this past winter will be open again to the public so you can stroll the sea wall. Enjoy your trip.
Reply:It sounds like you would enjoy more urban activities than the great outdoors. The previous answers had covered most of the Whishler areas stuff. The train ride east bound to Banff is a leisurely ride with transfer but it's costly.
I believe you will have a much better time in Victoria, which is located on the Vancouver island. There is a good variety of activities on Vancouver island ranging from the tourist tour to the adventurist. Many of which are done on foot. See the official links below for details.

Snow in atic space help?
I purchased a new home in june 2005 . Yesterday I noticed water leaking from my kitchen cealing. I live in a 2 story cape code so I looked in my atic space above my kitchen on top of my blown in insulation there was a small pile of snow melting causing the leak what the deal please help
Snow in atic space help?
Sometimes dry snow can blow in through your gable or soffit vents(usually were one roof line meets another) If you go up there during daylight and turn off the inside light you will probably see light (and feel a draft) were the snow is blowing in from. You will then want to block that area from the outside.
This happens in most houses from time to time when snow and wind factors are just right and often goes unnoticed. Good luck
Reply:What's the deal? It sounds pretty obvious there is an obvious hole in your roof for free snow to enter. When you looked in the attic did you look up above the snow at the roof? The only other place of entry other than a leak could be from a vent in the roof which are installed to prevent moisture build up in the attic as well as vent in the summer to eliminate heat build up. These kind of vents still should not allow snow to enter. Go up in the attic in the daytime with the entry closed and see if you can see light appearing anywhere in the roof obviously above where the snow showed up, good hunting.
Reply:I would first get a wet vac and remove the snow, It has to be coming from a roof vent if the house is a 2005 the builder should be responsible most new home construction comes with a 5 year warranty, If not you should consult with a roofer they should be able to make the proper corrections in-expensively.
Reply:You need to reinsulate your attic and waterproof it, this time.

I want to know which is the most scenic route through the mountains from the Yosemite area to lake Tahoe?
There are three different routes that are marked as scenic. I just want to know which is the best. We'll be traveling in mid-June, so snow won't be a problem.
I want to know which is the most scenic route through the mountains from the Yosemite area to lake Tahoe?
If you're in a hurry take the eastern route to US 395.
Rt 49 is the most interesting, historic, and beautiful. I pre-read some articles and books about Ghost Towns and the California Gold Rush beforehand but it's not necessary.
I have followed rt 49 to Placerville and then east on US 50. and on a different trip to I-80 then east to Truckee. Both routes are fine. Truckee is a place to visit if you are staying on at Lake Tahoe.
Next time I will take rt 4 NE from Angels Camp. Make sure you stop at Jamestown...RR museum.
Stay away from Fresno. It's "the pits."
Reply:I would take the road east over the mountains to Lee Vining, then up 395, but then I like remote places. I usually avoid Yosemite because it's too crowded!
Reply:I don't know if it is the "most" scenic, but since I like little towns, history, and gold, I would head west out of Yosemite on Rt 140 to Mariposa, then north on Rt 49, the "golden trail" to at least Placerville, then from there up to Sierraville north of Tahoe, take any route to the lake, depending on when you get tired of Rt. 49.

Has it ever snowed in june in london?
naah..i dont think so as far as to my knowledge.....im 18 and it havnt snowed in JUNE frm these many years...it might have snowed before i was born i am not aware of that cause global warming has been less in olden days...hope ans the question
Snow day's wont take days off of school just add more at the end?
I heard that if you have snowdays from school there wont
actually be less days in school is that true?
please answer
So if your suppose to get out at June 5th
and you have 3 snowdays you will be let out at june 8?
Snow day's wont take days off of school just add more at the end?
It depends on the school. I know at my college, we had a few "reading days" at the end of each semester before finals when we had time of to study, and if we had snow days then we would have class on those reading days. Some colleges/universities just let there be one less day of class and leave it up to the profs and students to make up that time. It would be unlikely for a college or university to keep you longer in the year, though, because they know people plan ahead and may have commitments ahead of time based on the scheduled end of school (summer jobs or plane tickets or whatever).
Elementary, middle, and high schools are required to be in session a certain number of days (usually 180), and have to make those up somehow no matter what. Some counties have days already built into the calendar that will be teacher work days or days off unless there is a snow day, in which case they will be regular school days (I know my county does, not sure about others).
Reply:It depends on state law. Most of them have a set number of catastrophe days (which include not only snow days, but heat emergencies, school fires, bomb threats--anything that closes school on a regularly scheduled day). If the school uses up all the catastrophe days, then each additional day of closing must be made up somehow (some schools do end of school year, some might squeeze it out of spring break, etc.).
Reply:Check your school's policies.
I think most elementary, middle, and high schools will add days on, but I don't think colleges do
Reply:no if your school finishes at a set date thats when it will finish. the end of term has to stay at the aranged date otherwise people would not be ble to book holidays etc..

Why is it snowing in June?
1. It's June.
2. There's moisture in the air.
3. The air temperature is below 0 degrees Celcius.
Why is it snowing in June?
because we want warm weather and we just cant always have what we want.
Reply:June is Summer in the Northern hemisphere but Winter in the Southern hemisphere. Temperatures in the South hemisphere would be cold so if you live in the South hemisphere that's why.

In June joke?
A lady walked into a bar and there were no seats available, except for one at a table that was occupied by a man, and she decides to take it.
He said, "Hello, my name is Jim Snow, what's yours?"
The women replied, "June."
She went to get a drink and Jim Snow sat there smiling at her. When she came back he still sat there smiling.
June was a little embarrassed, so she bashfully said, "Why are you smiling at me like that?"
Jim answered, "Well, just imagine having 6 inches of Snow in June!"

Why is there SNOW!?
Why does it have to snow in JUNE!!! I live in montana and it is snowing what the heck!
Why is there SNOW!?
It would make sense if a strong cold front passed through. The cold front would lift warm, moist air up to the cloud level. It will then be cooled below the freezing point, and snow will form. It doesn't matter what time of year it is. As long as the conditions are favorable, any kind of weather phenomenon can occur.
