Has global warming stopped? I ask this question because it's May almost June and it's not even as warm as it

should be.

It bright, sunny, clear blue sky and there hasn't been any snow in almost two months yet it feels just like the beginning of October.

Has global warming stopped? I ask this question because it's May almost June and it's not even as warm as it
The overall global average temperature peaked in 1998, and has shown a general cooling since then. It is not known if this trend will continue, or for how long. The Earth's climatology is very dynamic, and we have only a fairly basic understanding of the factors involved. Much of the problem with model projections is the inherent errors caused by insufficient data, and how much weight should be put on individual factors withthin those models.
Reply:Global warming has become a political tool --mainly of the left...

Sure, global warming is TRUE. But its a slow and steady progession over hundreds and hundreds of years. Every time we have a hot stretch or bad storm everyone is screaming about gloabal warming. But when its 52 degrees on may 20 no one seems to care. I remember summers from my childhood being much warmer then summers later.
Reply:where are you talking about? I live in manchester, England and it has been 30 degrees (C) this week! its never that hot! Its been boiling. I dont think its stopped! haha

The earth been warming up since the ice age dont think it will stop for a loooong while .....
Reply:You can never judge climate change based on one day, cold or hot or even a season. Climate change occurs over a long period of time. Even climate change can change and it is hard to quanitfy.
Reply:Stay tuned. I wouldn't say that one observation means global warming has stopped.
Reply:Weather is not the same as climate.
