Winter Clothing shops in Darwin (australia N.T)?

Doesn't anybody know of any shops in Darwin/Area selling winter clothing(thermal gear etc) at the moment.


Have had a look around but can't find anything in kmart , big w, target, mitchells and donation army

at june we are going to melbourne and there will be a lot of snow.

Reply:I had the same problem once and I went to the Anglicare op shop in Ludmilla. Out the back they went through bags of winter clothes for me and I got some super things that people had got rid of after they moved to darwin and found they no longer needed them. The clothes I bought where as new. I'm still wearing the thick towelling dressing gown I bought years ago. So the op shops are worth a look and to ask about winter gear. also you can browse google for shopping on line.
Reply:darwin sells warm clothes but the ones you are after would be better purchased in melbourne or better still if you can borrow some you will save yourself some money. when we went down to the snow last year we spread the word and friends turned up with jackets/pants it was great.
Reply:You might need to buy warm clothes once you arrive in Melbourne. You can hire really warm clothes for skiing at the snow fields which might be a good idea if you are from Darwin and won't be skiing regularly.
