Is there a science behind the weather Chicago is having this year?

All right, in January, we had tons of snow and below freezing temps and even some snow in April. And then April was kind of dry, while May was wet and colder than usual.





Now, this June, we are getting showers and t-storms all the time! If we get sun, it's considered more lucky. It used to be whnere a rainy day would happen 1-2 times a week and it would be refreshing. But now it's traded places with the sun. And the humidity is crazy!!!!





So, what is up with the weather that the Chicago-area is getting this year, particularly this June?

Is there a science behind the weather Chicago is having this year?
Sounds like Ohio...the last few years we go right from winter to summer. Hot, humid, rainy the it dries out. We hardly have spring anymore and it seems that fall gets missed too.


Hate to say it but I think it's global warming. :(

Reply:Think yourself lucky, in the UK we have the exact same problem w/ the weather, except, it happens constantly every year, I wouldnt worry too much about it, its bound to get better soon surely, anyway, there are people who would kill to live in places like Chicago, so your not too unlucky haha, sorry, i dont think that was much of a help
