Glacier National Park in late June ?

Never been there. I don't want to get swamped with tourists. Interested in hiking. Are there actual snow glaciers, or has everything thawed?

Would you go to Glacier, or venture further north to Alberta?

Thank you!

P.S.

Any extra SPECIFIC details on lodges, inns would be appreciated. Yes -- I'm not camping (shame on me!)

Lots of nice lodges North of Saint Mary. Yes they have real glaciers bring the bear spray and tie a bell on your pack.
Reply:No, not everything has thawed. It's just not the same as it used to be. If you watched the movie "an inconvinient truth" by al gore, you'll see how the glaciers from different places have change, and it's all because of us. You can watch the film, if you hadn't watch it, and you'll see how the Earth is changing.

You can make a big diiference so that when you go to the glacier, it wouldn't be all thawed...
